Historic Town Centre Street Upgrading

Durham County Council used Pavement Jointing Mortars from NCC Streetscape to upgrade Bishop Auckland town centre.

Problem

The granite sett jointing and pointing had previously been done using cement based products, but these were inadquate and failed.

Solution

The new granite setts were jointed with GftK 850 which is designed to withstand the heavy loading from retail deliveries and brewery drays for the many pubs and restaurants around the nearby market.
